Bi-Annual $1,000 Environmental Awareness Scholarship Essay

September 24, 2020 @ 8:00 am - September 1, 2030 @ 11:59 pm

What is environmental awareness and what does it mean to you? What actions do you take on daily basis which show your love for the very environment around you? We must first understand what environmentalism is. Environmentalism is an ideology that evokes the necessity and responsibility of humans to respect, protect, and preserve the natural world from actions our human race are taking every day.

Have you ever been upset to see plastic bags, cigarettes butts, and candy wrappers littering your favorite park, school or just along the street or alongside a freeway? Do you wish your school or college provided recycling bins for single-use water bottles? What about the worldwide impact our consumption habits are having as a society? What if everyone in the World cared and helped protect the environment as much as you do?

Each individual around us cares about the environment in their own way and has a unique understanding how it works. Ultimately, it’s the actions you take which truly make a difference.

Stay tuned to the website for updates on the essay topics!
